I wanted to send my sincere thanks and genuine gratitude. I was completely captivated from start to finish. Dave Engstrom's engaging talk about benefits of mindfulness reminded of how important it is to stay present and calm today rather than worrying about what's to come tomorrow.

In 2011, Can Do MS and the National MS Society launched Live Fully, Live Well with four different components.
This program has successfully helped people living with multiple sclerosis and their support partners move from education to action. The program components included:

    • 2011 – Six one-day programs around the country that included a support partner curriculum.  We reached over 340 participants in 6 different cities (Maryland, Oregon, Minnesota, New Jersey, Texas and North Carolina).
    • Seven web-based videos introducing wellness topics that were later discussed and presented in our Live Fully, Live Well Webinars (see video below). Visit the National MS Society to view all Live Fully, Live Well videos.

    • Meeting-in-a box tool kits for Society self-help group leaders led by the National MS Society.

Live Fully, Live Well covered topics affecting the whole family living with MS to strengthen relationships, increase understanding and promote improved health and quality of life for the person with MS and their support partner. Can Do MS led the efforts for hosting the in-person programs and presenting all webinars. The National MS Society led their efforts in leading the web-based videos and produced self-help toolkits.
