    The On-Snow Events
    Earn a Trip to Vail, CO

    1. Create a Team

    Choose a local Vertical Express Event from the home page & create a team of three skiers, boarders, and/or telemarkers.

    2. Register Your Team. It’s easy and free!

    To register online:

    • From the Vertical Express home page, choose and click on an event location. Follow the steps to register yourself and  your team.
    • OR call Can Do MS at 888-DO-IT-4MS ext 1292.

    3. Start Fundraising

    Each team must raise a minimum of $1,000 ($333 per person) to participate in an event.

    Raise $15,000 or more and earn an expense-paid trip to the April Awards in Vail, April 12-14, 2012.

    Use our online fundraising pages to register your team, personalize your page, send emails to supporters and track your fundraising. It’s easy and free! From the Vertical Express home page, choose and click on an event location to register for your personalized fundraising page.

    4. Don’t Ski? Sponsor A Participant

    1. Click here. You will be directed to the Sponsor a Participant page.
    2. Enter the name of the participant you would like to sponsor and select their event location. Press search.
    3. Click on the participant’s name to be directed to their fundraising page.

    The On-Snow Events

    Each event is as unique as its host mountain. Learn more about each event’s format by going to the event-specific web page from the Vertical Express home page.

    Each Vertical Express for Can Do MS event features a combination of the following competitions:

    Dual Giant Slalom
    Head-to-head GS course with points awarded based on the best of two runs.

    Mountain Challenge Marathon
    Complete as many laps as you can in a set time period — usually three to four hours.

    Mountain Challenge Poker Run
    Collect playing cards for the best poker hand.

    Earn a Trip to Vail
