The On-Snow Events
Fundraising Prizes
1. Register Today!
Click the button below and choose your event location from the drop down list and follow the prompts to create your own fundraising page!
By registering for the event, you are commiting to raise a minimum of $250 per individual and will act as an advocate for Can Do MS.
2. Start Fundraising
Each individual must raise a minimum of $250 to participate in an event. This includes event entry, goodie bag, food and beverages. Event participants that raise $500 or more will receive complimentary lift ticket/s on event day/s, in addition to the $250 level goodies.

3. Don’t Ski? Sponsor A Participant
- Click here. You will be directed to the Sponsor a Participant page.
- Enter the name of the participant you would like to sponsor and select their event location. Press search.
- Click on the participant’s name to be directed to their fundraising page.
The On-Snow Events
Each event is as unique as its host mountain. Learn more about each event’s format by clicking on a local event name from the Vertical Express home page.
Each Vertical Express for Can Do MS event features a combination of the following competitions:
Dual Giant Slalom
Head-to-head GS course with points awarded based on the best of two runs.
Mountain Challenge Marathon
Complete as many laps as you can in a set time period — usually three to four hours.
Mountain Challenge Poker Run
Collect playing cards for the best poker hand.

Grand Prize for Top Overall Fundraiser ($10,000 minimum):
The grand prize will be awarded to the overall top fundraiser from the entire series. A minimum of $10,000 must be raised to be eligible. The four-day trip for two to Vail, CO includes: four days of skiing (Vail or Beaver Creek), four nights of lodging at the Vail Marriott Mountain Resort Hotel & Spa, round trip airfare to Denver International Airport (DIA) & a round trip CME shuttle from DIA.
$7,500 raised: $400 online gift card to Backcountry.com*
$5,000 raised: Arc’teryx Atom LT Insulated Hoody*
$2,500 raised: MountainSmith Approach 40 Back Pack *
$1,000 raised: One Pair of Swany Gloves*
$500 raised: Complimentary lift ticket on event day(s) ski pass & event entry**
$250 raised: Event entry (goodie bag, t-shirt, food, drink and tons of fun!)**
