    What is Vertical Express for Can Do MS?
    A series of on-snow events at resorts across North America to raise funds for people and families living with multiple sclerosis (MS). For skiers, boarders and telemarkers of all ages and abilities. Learn how to participate…

    Participants receive a free lift pass, goody bag and food. Additional prizes are based on dollars raised by participants. Raise $15,000 and win a trip to April Awards in Vail, CO.

    Proceeds support Can Do MS, a national nonprofit organization and innovative provider of lifestyle empowerment programs for people with MS and their support partners.

    How do I register online?

    To register online:   Register

    1. Click the “Register” button to the right.
    2. Choose and click on your local event name.
    3. You will be redirected to the registration page for your local event.
    4. Read the event specific information.
    5. Click on Register Now at the bottom of the page.
    6. Create a User Name and Password.
    7. Follow the steps to register you and/or your team.
    8. Personalize your fundraising web page to request contributions and track your team’s progress.

    How much do I need to raise?
    Each team of 3 raises a minimum of $1000 or $333 each (plus a few pennies) to enter the event. Remember – the more you raise, the better the prizes! In order to win an expense paid trip to Vail, CO for the April Awards, your team must raise at least $15,000.

    How many people on a team?
    Three, 3, III, tres, trois! Any combo of age, ability, and sex.

    Do I have to be a good skier or racer?
    Not really. This is about FUNdraising, camaraderie, and enjoying the day with friends, old and new. On-snow performance is rewarded with prizes, but so is fundraising, so don’t let your snowplow keep you from joining in the fun!

    I’m a snowboarder/telemarker… can I participate?
    No problem. Teams can be made up of skiers, riders and telemarkers.

    Where does the money go?
    Funds raised through the Vertical Express for Can Do MS benefit Can Do MS’s lifestyle empowerment programs for people with MS and their support partners, and help provide scholarships for those unable to pay for these unique programs. Can Do MS is a national, nonprofit organization based in Edwards, CO. Donations are tax-deductible. Learn more…

    How do I handle donations? Do I send them to Can Do MS or keep them until event day?
    It’s best to record, then send your donations to Can Do MS. Have checks made out to Can Do MS, and be sure to include the team name and event on the memo line.
