Please thank the team for their patience in answering my question in such a professional way (not that  I expected any different.)  Rather than unconvincing "do this, don't do that", there are some practical gems of information, explanation and motivating advice I can really adopt.

What a brilliant idea Ask the Can Do Team program is!

Can Do Multiple Sclerosis Jimmie Heuga Memorial Golf Tournament raises funds for national lifestyle empowerment programs

    Posted Tuesday, June 7, 2011

Edwards, Colo. • June 7, 2011 – The Can Do Multiple Sclerosis Jimmie Heuga Memorial Golf Tournament, presented by US Bank, was a huge success and raised funds for people with multiple sclerosis (MS) and their support partners.

Tournament proceeds will fund Can Do MS’s lifestyle empowerment programs that help people with MS and their support partners transform challenges into possibilities. Can Do MS’s nationally-renowned programs include the four-day CAN DO®, two-day TAKE CHARGE™, one-day JUMPSTART® and Webinar Series.  The next CAN DO Program will be held in Vail, CO at The Lodge at Vail, October 26-29, 2011.

MS is one of the most common neurological diseases among adults between the ages of 20 and 50. It is an unpredictable disease that attacks the central nervous system. Symptoms range from numbness in the limbs to paralysis or loss of vision. The progress, severity and specific symptoms of MS in any one person cannot be predicted. Can Do MS helps those living with MS and their support partners to transform and improve their quality of life by giving them the knowledge, skills, tools and power to be more than their MS.

    2011 Winning Team

Todd Sisson, Tony Spires, Alice Plain and Don Davies were the first-place team members who won the grand prize: 2 rounds of golf at Red Sky Ranch, Fly Fishing from Minturn Anglers and tickets to the 2011 Great American Beer Festival. The team outscored a field of 10 teams in the scramble tournament held June 6, 2011 at the Cordillera Valley Course.
