I really love these webinars - they teach me positive steps I can take to improve my life and protect my health.  Each one makes me feel better about my diagnosis.  Just like the name, they make me feel like I ‘Can Do MS'.

Can Do MS Announces Live Fully, Live Well Collaborative Initiative Offering New Wellness Programs to People Living with MS

    Posted Wednesday, June 15, 2011

Can Do MS announces a new program being presented in collaboration with the National Multiple Sclerosis Society. This new initiative, Live Fully, Live Well, combines the strengths of both organizations to bring a comprehensive wellness program to people with MS and their support partners.

Live Fully, Live Well will help people with MS and their support partners move from education to action. Through participation in four program elements participants will gain the resources, knowledge and tools to create a personalized wellness plan.

All four areas of this program can be integrated together or enjoyed seperately to provide you with the resources, knowledge and tools to create a personalized wellness plan. These areas include:

    • Six one-day in-person programs around the country that include a support partner curriculum
    • Seven web-based videos introducing wellness topics
    • Fourteen webinars
    • A toolkit for self help group leaders

Live Fully, Live Well covers topics affecting the whole family living with MS to strengthen relationships, increase understanding and promote improved health and quality of life for the person with MS and their support partner. Can Do MS will lead the efforts for the in-person programs and the webinars. The National MS Society will lead the efforts for the web-based videos and toolkits.

This program is made possible by MS ActiveSource, which is sponsored by Biogen Idec and Elan Pharmaceuticals, Inc.
