Edwards, Colo. • September 17, 2012 – Can Do Day is an annual campaign that honors Can Do Multiple Sclerosis founder, Jimmie Heuga and celebrates his legacy on his birthday, September 22nd. On this day, focus on what you can do, and do it. Each year, Can Do Day is built around the many Can Do MS fans who share what they can do, which inspire others and helps raise awareness for MS. It has quickly become the focal point of Can Do MS’s Facebook campaign.
"Can Do Day was created to bring together inspiring stories, comments and support for not only people living with MS, but for anyone who is encouraged to do something they can do,” says Jennifer Myers, Director of Marketing and Communications, Can Do MS. “It is an opportunity to share your can do spirit with all, and connect with us and others from around the world on our Facebook Page.”
This year, Trevis Gleason is the face of Can Do Day. Trevis’ Can Do Day pledge is,
“Although I no longer cook professionally, I can use my professional expertise to help people with MS.” On September 22nd, Trevis will launch his first cooking video made for people living with MS. Read more of Trevis’ Can Do Story at www.mscando.org/candostory.
