Beaver Creek’s 3rd Annual Cut & Slice Golf Event Presented by US Bank to Benefit Can Do Multiple Sclerosis on Monday, May 26th
Avon, Colo. • May 14, 2014 – Beaver Creek Resort Company has selected Can Do MS, for the third year in a row, as the beneficiary of its 3rd Annual Cut and Slice Golf Event presented by US Bank, to be held on Monday, May 26, 2014, at the Beaver Creek Golf Club from 11:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Golfers will enjoy barbecue and craft beers from Crazy Mountain Brewery and Breckenridge Brewery during their round of golf. Tickets are $125 per person which includes greens fee, golf cart, practice balls, tee gift along with barbecue and beer on the course. Net proceeds from the event will be donated to Can Do MS’s lifestyle empowerment programs for people living with MS and their support partners.
Golfers will have a chance to win amazing prizes for the longest drive, closest to the pin and a hole-in-one challenge. Can Do MS will also host a raffle during the awards party at The Rendezvous Club. Participants can purchase tickets to win a variety of prizes including sporting goods, lodging packages, Vilar event tickets and much more. Raffle tickets will be available before, during and after the golf event for $5 (one ticket) and $20 (five tickets).
New this year, Can Do MS and the Beaver Creek Golf Club will be hosting an adaptive golf experience, sponsored by Teva Neuroscience. Individuals living with MS and their support partner will golf with a PGA professional and physical therapist to learn adaptive techniques and use equipment that will empower them to continue playing.
